Tour Plan

Day 01 Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

Pick-up at 8:00 a.m. from your hotel or riad in Marrakech.
Departure towards the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with several panoramic stops along the way.

Visit an Argan oil cooperative, where you will discover the production process of argan oil and cosmetic products, as well as learn about its many benefits for the human body.

Continue south and later take a 6 km track leading to the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, where you will visit the famous Kasbah, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Many famous movies have been filmed here, such as Gladiator, The Jewel of the Nile, and Game of Thrones.
Lunch in the village.

In the afternoon, continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert,” a starting point for major desert expeditions and home to the Taourirt Kasbah.

Continue towards the Valley of Roses, passing through the large palm grove of Skoura and Boumalne.
Detour to Boumalne Dades to admire the famous “Monkey Fingers”, a rocky landscape also known as the “Brain of the Atlas.”

Dinner and overnight in a Hotel or Riad.

Day 02 Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga

After breakfast, visit the spectacular Dades Gorges, enjoying the mountain scenery along a road dotted with kasbahs, each one different from the other.

After several stops, arrival at one of the highlights of southern Morocco: the Todra Valley.
The Todra River has carved a canyon with vertical walls reaching up to 200 meters in height, creating a breathtaking landscape. This area is a paradise for climbers and a truly unique place.
Free lunch.

Continue towards the desert through the Tafilalet palm grove, passing through Erfoud and Rissani, until reaching the impressive Merzouga dunes.
Enjoy a welcome mint tea while resting.

Then depart on a camel caravan towards the foot of the great dune of Erg Chebbi. During the camel ride (approximately 1.5 hours), you will witness a beautiful sunset, changing colors, and the peaceful silence of the dunes.

Arrival at the desert camp.
Enjoy a traditional Berber dinner and drum music.
Overnight in nomadic tents (haimas) in the heart of the desert, under a magnificent star-filled sky.

Day 3 Merzouga – Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech

Early wake-up to enjoy the spectacular sunrise over the dunes.
Return to Merzouga by camel, admiring the desert landscape.

After breakfast and a shower at the hotel/riad, begin the journey back to Marrakech, passing through villages such as Alnif, Tazarine, and Nkob, until reaching Ouarzazate.

Return via the same route, crossing the High Atlas Mountains, arriving in Marrakech in the afternoon or evening.
