On the first day of your journey, we will meet you at the port of Tangier and travel through the Rif Mountains and the city of Tetouan, enjoying beautiful mountain views until we reach Chefchaouen, one of the most charming villages nestled at the foothills of the Rif Mountains.
In the medina of Chefchaouen, you will discover the main square with Spanish-style architecture, surrounded by many handicraft workshops and lively shops. You will also find excellent restaurants and cafés there.
Our journey continues towards Volubilis via Wazan and other Rif villages. Volubilis is an important Roman archaeological site that reveals part of Morocco’s ancient history. After visiting the ruins, we will head to the nearby historic city of Meknes, where we will stop for lunch and enjoy a walk along the medina walls, Bab El Mansour, and visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.
After visiting Meknes, we will drive directly to Fes, where you will spend the night in a traditional riad.
After breakfast in your riad, you will begin exploring the oldest city in Morocco, walking through its narrow streets and alleys. The tour includes visits to the Royal Palace, Bab Bou Jeloud gate, and the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), the first ever built in Morocco during the 16th century.
You will visit major cultural and historical sites, including the famous Al Quaraouiyine University, the oldest university in Africa, the tanneries, Attarine Museum, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss.
After lunch, you will visit a traditional tile (zellige) cooperative and then enjoy a panoramic view overlooking the entire medina of Fes. Dinner and overnight stay in a riad.
After breakfast at the hotel, departure towards Merzouga. The journey takes you through Ifrane, the impressive Tiz Ntalghamt Pass, and the Ziz Gorges. Along the way, you will observe the changing landscapes of the Middle Atlas until the desert scenery begins to appear near Errachidia.
You will then travel along the lush Ziz Valley, stopping at several panoramic viewpoints before reaching Erfoud and Rissani. Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will be welcomed with a traditional glass of mint tea.
Afterwards, you will begin a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes, heading to a desert camp where you will spend the night surrounded by sand dunes and enjoy Berber drum music under the stars.
Early in the morning, you will wake up to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara dunes. You will then ride camels back to the hotel for breakfast and a shower.
The journey continues through the Saghro Mountains toward Tinghir. You will take a short walk through the spectacular Todra Gorges before heading to the Dades Valley for dinner and overnight accommodation.
After breakfast, we will travel through the Dades Valley toward Kalaat M’Gouna and Ouarzazate. Known as the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs,” this route offers incredible photo opportunities, along with views of the beautiful Rose Valley.
We continue to Ouarzazate, famous for its film studios. On the way to Marrakech, you will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the largest kasbah in Morocco, built by T-Hami El Glaoui in the early 20th century. Once an important stop for caravans traveling between the Sahara and Marrakech, it is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Crossing the High Atlas Mountains, you will enjoy dramatic landscapes, panoramic views, and traditional Berber villages before arriving in Marrakech. Overnight stay in a riad.
After breakfast in the riad, you will enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech, known as “the Red City.” The visit includes the most important historical and cultural sites such as the Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, and Bahia Palace.
After lunch at a restaurant near the famous Jemaa El-Fna Square, you will explore the traditional souks, where you will find a wide variety of Moroccan handicrafts. In the afternoon, you will have free time to discover the city at your own pace.
